If The Shoe Fits... Design Awards

Fashion jewelry designer, Judith Hendler, challenged enrolled Community College students in any of the visual arts or crafts design departments and current HBAC members to define core sustainability concepts of reduce, reuse and repurpose within their own practices. Award winners and honorable mentions made the shoe motif or design central to the artwork in an unusual and interesting way.

Two $500.00 cash prizes will be awarded for Best in Show (Community College Student and HBAC Member categories) and notable mentions will be presented at the exhibition opening.

Member and patron preview hour is 5:30 – 6:30pm. Public reception opens at 6:30pm.
