Keyboard Series - Laura Metcalf

Following the 2016 release of their debut album “First Day,” which reached #7 on the Billboard Classical Charts and was hailed by Gramophone as “brilliant” and by American Record Guide as “a joyous program,” cellist Laura Metcalf and pianist Matei Varga present a creative, eclectic program of works for cello and piano.

Alongside favorites such as Alberto Ginastera’s fiery “Pampeana”, a gentle tango by Jose Bragato, and a beguiling chanson by Francis Poulenc, they will also perform music by acclaimed young composers Caleb Burhans, Brandon Ridenour and more.
