Los Angeles Percussion Quartet

Since 2009, the Los Angeles Percussion Quartet, or LAPQ, has forged a distinct identity as a world-class contemporary chamber music ensemble who is dedicated to commissioning and presenting new works for percussion quartets.

Phil Proctor

Phil’s musical and linguistic talents (he speaks 7 languages) have taken him from Broadway, where he appeared in The Sound of Music and A Time for Singing, and Off-Broadway and L.A. in The Amorous Flea, across the U.S. and Canada, to Europe, and even to the former Soviet Union with the legendary Yale Russian Chorus.

Janelle DeStefano

American mezzo-soprano, Janelle DeStefano, enjoys the entire gamut of classical singing, from opera and oratorio to recital and chamber music.

L.A. Flamenco

L.A. Flamenco is known for its passionate and exciting performing style. Working with L.A.'s premier dancers, choreographer Wendy Castellanos brings to the visceral art of flamenco to the Festival.

Jeffrey Holmes

Jeffrey Holmes composes music inspired by the diversities of our natural world in its primal and dramatic elemental state. His creative inspiration is often rooted in primitive myths, legends, and landscapes.
