Set against the backdrop of 19th-century France, join MTA's Shooting Stars, ages 12-18 as they perform Les Miserables (School Edition), an unforgettable story of heartbreak, passion, and the resilience of the human spirit, that has become one of the most celebrated musicals in theatrical history. Musical Theatre Academy of Orange County (MTA) is proud to celebrate over thirty years of helping the youth of our community discover the potential that lies within them and to find the passion to make their dreams come true. Operating as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, MTA provides thousands of children ages 4 to 18, access to the arts while offering quality Broadway-style shows that are comparable to professional musical theater venues all over the country. Our mission has always been to nurture artistic talent by instilling positive qualities and life skills in youth through performance arts education. MTA gives every child a chance to shine!
