Life of a (Female) Artist

 In the fine art world, there is no how-to guide. No one tells you how to survive as a professional painter, critic or artist. Artist Ingrid Reeve pairs up with Journalist Evan Senn to document their lives and investigate how to be successful in this chaotic art world. Utilizing a residency at Grand Central Art Center in downtown Santa Ana, Ingrid and Evan reach out to seasoned female artists, writers, critics, collectors and curators to find out what it takes to “make it.” After a year of collaborating, creating and exploring what it means to live as a female arts professional, they find out there is so much more involved than they originally thought.
