LPAPA Patron Party & Miniature Auction FUN-raiser
The Laguna Plein Air Painter Association is going virtual to host its 6th Annual “Patron Party & Miniature Auction FUN-raiser” so more art lovers can enjoy this special event that has become an annual art collector’s favorite.
The FUN starts with the auction “kick-off” Patron Party on Friday, June 19th at 5:00 pm with special guest Mr. Jean Stern, Art Historian and nationally recognized authority on California Impressionism, who will indulge our virtual guests with fascinating stories about historical miniatures and the artists who helped establish Laguna Beach as an artists’ colony.
We are auctioning off 35 framed miniature originals created by LPAPA Artists that range in size between 4″ x 4″ to 6″ x 8″.View more

Online auction opens to the public 7:00 pm PDT | Auction ends Sunday, June 21st at 5:00 pm.

The Virtual Patron Party is an exclusive social gathering of art lovers who will learn more about Laguna’s plein air painting legacy and the miniatures that now-famous artists — Edgar Payne, William Wendt, and others — who formed the first Laguna Art Association and opened the first art gallery in Laguna Beach in 1918. LPAPA brings the history of miniature paintings into the future with the auction of miniature paintings by award-winning contemporary artists.
The auction continues through the weekend, ending at 5:00 pm on Sunday, June 21st.
