CSUF Grand Central Art Center presents Mariangeles Soto-Diaz: Gentle Prowess Deliberations.
Gentle Prowess Deliberations is the third project within a line of work in which Mariangeles Soto-Diaz draws on her judo community while incorporating judo principles and elements into art objects, installations, performances, and social practice. While training towards her black belt, she has been meditating on ju, or gentle, one of the core concepts of judo and the most challenging to master.
