Mosaic a Surfboard

Anne Marie will take away all the mystery of how to create your own gorgeous mosaic surfboard as she teaches you her step-by-step process. She starts by answering the questions “Why a surfboard?” and “Where do I find one?” Once you have your board, she will give you great tips on cleaning and prepping the board. There are some important tips in these sections that you may not have thought of, and they can make or break a successful mosaic surfboard project.

Next, she will show you how she comes up with design ideas, and how to apply them to the board. Once you have your design, she will go over her stained glass palette and her choices. Anne Marie loves to work in stained glass, but she absolutely believes that any tesserae can be used to create a mosaic surfboard. She will go over her favorite adhesive choice and why she chooses it.

If all of this sounds exciting to you, but you feel that it will be difficult to find a surfboard or skimboard in your area, we still highly recommend this course. All of Anne Marie’s instructions can be used on a guitar or other large 3D object that you might find more easily.
