MOTAL Opening of New Desegregation Exhibition

The Museum of Teaching and Learning (MOTAL) invites the community to the opening of, A Class Action: The Grassroots Struggle for School Desegregation in California.  This award-winning MOTAL exhibition tells the story of five families who fought school segregation through the groundbreaking Mendez et al. v. Westminster School District et al.

Join us at Santiago Canyon College (SCC) in East Orange for the ribbon cutting ceremony on Strenger Plaza in front of the Lorenzo Ramirez Library.   Hosted by SCC in partnership with the Orange Unified School District. The ceremony will be followed by refreshments and exhibition visits inside the library.

On exhibit through December 2022.
