Moving Santa Ana: Backhausdance presents free ballet and creative dance classes for Santa Ana youth

Moving Santa Ana, a new dance education program presented by Backhausdance, is a series of free ballet and creative dance classes for ages 3-12 taught by our professional dancers and experienced teaching artists offered 2x week, on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings. Culmination performances offered for family, friends and everyone in June and December. Classes are FREE for Santa Ana residents. Funded by the City of Santa Ana, Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency.

Available Livestream via zoom and at Santa Ana community centers pending health and safety guidelines (Spring session will be held virtually)

Spring Session: April 14 – June 19, 2021

Summer Session: July 7 – August 7, 2021

Fall Session: September 1 – December 18, 2021

Schedule:

Ages 3 – 5: Wednesdays, 4 pm – 4:45 pm; Saturdays, 9:30 am – 10:15 am

Ages 6 – 8: Wednesdays, 5 pm – 6 pm; Saturdays, 10:30 am – 11:30 am

Ages 9 -12: Wednesdays, 6 pm – 7 pm; Saturdays, 11:30 am – 12:30 pm
