Music and Stories from the Stage

The Festival Singers of Orange County, led by Artistic Director Gary Toops with pianist Carol Roman, presents a program featuring songs from Oklahoma! which premiered 75 years ago and works of Leonard Bernstein in honor of his 100th birth anniversary. It also includes favorite choruses and arias from operas by Johann Strauss, Georges Bizet, Giacomo Puccini, Gilbert and Sullivan among others. Sopranos Laurel Coote and Diana Farrell, mezzo soprano Barbara Griffith, tenor Jason Francisco, baritone Daniel Wilson and bass Mark Poarch are the featured soloists.

Following the concert is a reception with delicious desserts and an opportunity to meet the singers.
