From the legendary stars of Sarah Vaughn, Pearl Bailey, Lena Horne to women who helped strengthen the backbone of the jazz genre including pianists Hazel Scott, Lil Harden and more.

Our featured artist is Diane Russell paintings and drawings reflect her passion for music and dance. Her portraits capture more than a likeness, they bring to light the inner soul. She works from her own photographs, capturing the moment first with the camera, then later on canvas or paper.
