August 20:  Cinema Orange |  Albert Frey: The Architectural Envoy 
Hosted by OCMA / Orange County Museum of Art and The Newport Beach Film Festival

In this two-part ONLINE film series, step into the story of Albert Frey, the unpretentious Swiss-born architect who helped bring modernism to the United States, and whose innate curiosity of the American landscape inspired an extraordinary style that blended industrial techniques with a love for nature.

NBFF along with THE LOT and health partner, UCI Health are taking extra precautions to ensure the health and safety of filmmakers and patrons. In addition to abiding by California’s current social distancing guidelines, every attendee will receive no contact temperature checks, sanitizing stations will be placed throughout THE LOT, theaters will be thoroughly sanitized after every screenings and food will be served in single use containers.

The NBFF seeks to bring Orange County the best of contemporary and international filmmaking, and in 2019 we featured films from 56 countries all around the world. Our program includes our popular Action Sports, Culinary, Family, Environmental, and Music films from emerging directors and on-screen talents.
