Nixon Library: Veterans Speak Up Workshops

Chance Theater will offer free Veterans Speak-Up Workshops at the Nixon Library April 17-May 15..  Our Veterans Speak Up program invites local veterans to participate in a free session with six Monday workshops that culminate in a public performance.

Veterans of all ages are encouraged to sign-up now for our Free 6-Session Workshop.

This workshop process provides a safe environment for veterans to be part of an ensemble, where they will work together to give a voice to their experiences, creatively explore storytelling, and all participants will leave with a foundation of performance and public speaking as taught by professional Chance Artists.

Through the power of personal narratives, Veterans Speak Up provides veterans the opportunity to share their stories and express themselves in hopes to promote social healing and deepen our community’s understanding of our local heroes.
