On Exhibit at Sandstone Gallery

Sandstone Gallery is honored to soon exhibit a large collection of work by Katherine Mead, our Guest Artist.  Join us during Art Walk on February 1st for a special evening with Katherine and Lynn Welker, our Featured Artist.

Katherine has worked as an interior architectural, graphic, and lighting designer in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Portland, Oregon. She returned to her fine art roots in 2009 and has exhibited in numerous shows and galleries.

Lynn Welker is an abstract artist focused on the landscape, its many forms, both real and imagined.  Without a preconceived notion of how a painting will look, she allows her imagery to gradually emerge. Welker paints intuitively, looking beyond the surface, reaching deeper, exploring the effects of erosion, sedimentation, weather and the passing of time.
