Bowers Museum presents an exclusive pre-recorded presentation – Elements and Principles of Art and Design in the Spirits and Headhunters Gallery.

Join Dr. Irini Vallera-Rickerson, Professor of Art History and Architecture at Orange Coast College, to better understand how to view and analyze artwork in terms of the elements and principles of design, such as texture, balance, line, color and rhythm.

Dr. Rickerson will discuss the elements and principles of design by focusing on selected artifacts in the Spirits and Headhunters gallery and other parts of the museum.
