Pastels to Create Floral Still Life

Learn the basics of pastel technique with artist Gianne de Genevraye's class, Using Pastel to Create a Floral Still Life, taking inspiration in the Sherman Gardens.  This outdoor workshop, in a non-competitive atmosphere, will include practical exercises to understand the technique of pastel painting, understanding light direction and shadow and negative space.  We will complete a finished drawing of a simple floral composition from the garden.
