Pianist: Jean-Yves Thibaudet

The Philharmonic Society of Orange County presents wwo-time Grammy-nominated pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet.

Thibaudet returns to Orange County performing the entirety of Debussy’s Préludes, which showcase the composer’s expressive indulgences and free-spirit, lyrical musical tendencies.

Possessing a depth and natural charisma that have made him one of today’s most sought-after soloists, Jean-Yves Thibaudet has performed around the world and recorded more than 50 albums. A Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame inductee in 2010, Thibaudet is celebrated for his musical interpretations of a wide range of compositions, including music beyond the standard repertoire, from jazz to opera, which he transcribes himself to play on the piano.
