Placentia Tamale Festival

The City of Placentia welcomes all to our 29th Annual Tamale Festival, the Original OC Tamale Festival.  Join us as Old Town Placentia is transformed into a lively, outdoor mercado (marketplace) featuring the smell of the season with handmade tamales, sweets, and foods.

Enjoy the Grammy Award winning Mariachi Divas 7-9 pm plus dozens of live performers, nonprofit organization booths, a kids’ game area, craft vendors, pictures with Santa Claus, and our Holiday Tree Lighting.

Grab a cup of champurrado (Mexican chocolate) to stay warm throughout the festival.
