Laguna Plein Air Invitational Artist Carl Bretzke, visiting Laguna from Minnesota, is leading a 3-1/2 hour Plein Air Nocturne Oil Painting Workshop in Downtown Laguna Beach on Friday October 4, 2019 (6:30-10:00pm). Students will meet indoors at the Forest & Ocean Gallery in Laguna Beach for Carl’s 45 minute slide presentation on painting nocturnes. The group will then go outdoors for a paint out with focused demonstration and personalized assistance by Carl Bretzke. You will learn a basic approach to accomplishing a nocturne painting, including specific insights into how to deal with nocturne light effects. All painting mediums and experience levels welcome.
