Pumpkin Decorating Contest, Children’s Costume Parade & Crafts

 Share your Halloween spirit and your pumpkin carving skills at our annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest & Children’s Costume Parade. Dress your children up in their favorite costumes and bring in your decorated Halloween pumpkin for a chance to win a Roger’s Gardens’ gift card and other prizes. Pumpkins compete in three categories: Carved, Decorated or Painted, and Children (12 & under). Pumpkins can be elaborate, simple, lighted, mechanical, carved, painted, and scary or fun – anything goes. A panel of designers and staff members will be judging them. Entries must be ready for judging no later than 4 PM. Children dressed in their best Halloween costumes will parade throughout the gardens and enjoy special “treats.” Bring your camera!
