Reflections of Resilience

Laguna Art Museum (LAM) is pleased to present Reflections of Resilience.  This exhibition features artwork by the 2024 Master of Fine Art graduates from Laguna College of Art+Design (LCAD). The quality, creativity and individuality are testaments to their dedication and independence. Remarkable artists are attracted to LCAD because of the understanding that time-honored skill joined with personal contemporary concerns can create vital, memorable art.

These artists share an earnest, hopeful sensibility amid unsettling times. As we emerge from a pandemic, they reflect upon what is most meaningful and how to navigate an often distant and uncertain world. There is optimism behind the urge to create and contribute. A shared sense of resilience resonates beneath the surface, reflecting honesty while avoiding cynicism.
