Rick Braun Plays the Standards & More

Dynamic trumpet soloist, composer and producer, Rick Braun has enjoyed a remarkable jazz career. Crafting his own distinctive sound and exploding on to the music scene more than 30 years ago with the release of Intimate Secrets, Rick became one of jazz’s most influential artists, and his infectious style became a keystone of modern jazz radio. He expanded his role by producing No. 1 hits for David Benoit, Marc Antoine, and former Rod Stewart band sidekick, the late Jeff Golub.

Rick and the Barclay came together in October of 2020 for a one-of-a-kind Barclay@Bayside outdoor performance featuring Rick and his band playing beloved songs from the Great American songbook. The event was so successful that Rick and the Barclay agreed to bring it back. One of the world’s greatest musicians playing great songs in Orange County’s most intimate venue – magic is sure to happen.
