Santa Ana: Create in the Park

Have you ever tried Urban Sketching? Everyone is invited to join us at this historic site to give it a try. Our professional artist will provide instruction and tips for getting started or developing your Urban sketching skills. You will begin with a basic contour drawing in ink and then added color is optional. No previous drawing experience is needed with the contour technique. You may also bring art materials for plein air painting if you prefer.

No materials are provided, only art instruction. Upon registration a list of suggested materials will be provided. A quick tour of the Courthouse is included with fun facts about this property.

This program welcomes all who are interested and love the arts, from beginning to advanced artists. Come experience an OC Park in a new way.

Please note that parking nearby the courthouse is metered or in a paid lot. Free parking is not available.
