Join us for a special screening of Sawdust and Sand with Village Laguna and special guests Douglas Miller and Jason Blalock.  In 1970, freshly home from the Vietnam War, 23-year-old Douglas Miller drifted into Laguna Beach, CA. In the 54 years since then, he has painted 20,000 canvases and taken 500,000 photographs of his adopted hometown. Sawdust and Sand is an irreverent look at the world through an eccentric artist’s eye. This documentary shows his enormous body of work to present a profound portrait of a California town and its people.
