Sherman Gardens: Junior Gardeners Summer Camp

Registration is open for the Junior Gardeners Summer Camp at the Sherman Library & Gardens.

During this practical camp for 7-11 year olds, kids learn to care for plants and understand how the choices they make affect the natural world. Topics include carnivorous plants, growing food, worm composting and creating a wildlife friendly garden.

This STEAM based camp will develop skills of observation, design and scientific exploration. Each session involves activities in the garden and a fun planting or creative craft project to take home. Expect to get your hands dirty.

Camp Dates:
Week 1: Monday, July 25 – Thursday, July 28

Week 2: Monday, August 8 – Thursday, August 11

*Both weeks include the same activities.
