Surf City Arts Fest

Art’s Month isn’t complete without Huntington Beach Art Center’s signature free, family event Surf City Arts Fest.  Every October, we celebrate with fine artists, unique hands-on art projects, food vendors, live music, and dance performances.

Huntington Beach’s Central Park plays host to this year’s festival, which has been completely reimagined in the scenic and historic location. Upon entering the park, explore a dozen DIY art projects including printmaking, sculpture, tie-dye, and collage.

Continue down the walkway a little further to shop the work of 70 local and regional fine artists. Grab a snack from one of our fabulous food vendors, then boogie and groove to live music and dance performances at the Thomas Ridley Bandstand. Finally, enjoy a guided nature walk through the park’s Secret Garden.
