A classical comedy of manners full of biting satire reminding us that looks can be deceiving.
When the kind, yet dim, Orgon invites the religious zealot known as Tartuffe into his home, he has no idea that he has accepted a snake into his den. While Tartuffe acts like a kind minister, he is - in fact - a con man plotting to rob Orgon of everything he holds dear! All shows are presented at the Lyceum Theater located on the Vanguard University campus off Newport Boulevard. Ticket prices are $19 for general admission and $15 for seniors and children. Tickets may be purchased at www.vanguardtickets.com or by calling the Vanguard University Theatre Department box office at 714-668-6145. Season subscriptions and group rates are available.
Please note that no children under the age of six will be permitted to enter the Lyceum and babes in arms are not allowed. Limited handicap seating is available upon request; please call the box office to reserve handicap seating.

There will be a cast talk-back on Friday, October 27th after the show. This is a great time to ask the cast about the creative process as they will be able to answer any and all questions regarding the performance.
Tickets will be available to pick up at will call (located in the Lyceum box office) one hour prior to the start of the performance. Doors will open one half-hour prior to the start of the performance.
