Join Mouse on a daring adventure through the deep, dark wood in Tall Stories’ magical, musical adaptation of the classic picture book by Julia Donaldson & Axel Scheffler. Searching for hazelnuts, Mouse meets the cunning Fox, the eccentric old Owl and the party mad Snake. Will the story of the terrifying Gruffalo save Mouse from ending up as dinner for these hungry woodland creatures? After all, there’s no such thing as a Gruffalo – is there?

Join us for FREE pre-show activities before The Gruffalo

Just what is a Gruffalo? Come by Samueli lobby an hour before the performance to find out! Create your own version of a Gruffalo with our monster making supplies and get your face painted like one of the creatures in The Gruffalo. Write a monster tale of your own on our giant mad libs and don’t forget to snap a picture at our photo op. Whether you have tusks or claws or even purple prickles, be sure to arrive early to enjoy all the fun!

PARKING INFO

For visitors to Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall and Samueli Theater, the closest parking is in the Plaza Tower Parking Structure, which is across Park Center Drive from the Westin South Coast Plaza and directly behind the concert hall and South Coast Repertory.

Current rates for performance parking are $10 (cash only).
