The Huntington Beach Academy for the Performing Arts (HB APA) will present three performances by its Popular Music and Media students called The Jeff Lynne and The Electric Light Orchestra Story. This is a great chance to make a difference in the lives of APA’s pop-rock high school music program called MMET. Please arrive early to bid on auction items and show some love by snapping up raffle tickets which will benefit this fine group of young people.

This is a benefit event and guests will have a chance to participate in he silent auction along with raffle opportunities. Proceeds will benefit APA's MMET Department. APA is located on the campus of Huntington Beach High School and it is the arts magnet program for the HBUHSD. This means that students attending HBHS, FVHS, WMS, OVHS, EHS, or MHS can audition. APA offers nine disciplines of instruction which includes: Acting (stage/tv), Costume Design, Dance, Dramatic Production (playwriting/directing), MMET Media (film/TV production), MMET Popular Music (rock band), Musical Theatre, Orchestra, and Technical Theatre (sound-lighting design/stage construction) to over 700 students per year hailing from these 6 different high schools.
