The Living Room Talks

The Living Room is an installation space that provides a community gathering place for engaging, intimate conversations with local artists set among a collection of nostalgic mural art and décor. Exhibition décor, curated by Yevgeniya Mikhailik, features artwork by Orange County artists Jennie Cotterill and Chantal deFelice.

The first Sunday of every month from 1–2 p.m. for The Living Room Talks featuring artisans, entrepreneurs and raconteurs sharing their inspiring stories of collaboration.

Sunday, January 4, 2015 – Ian Gibson
Ian Gibson is an intellectual property attorney handling litigation and transactional matters in the areas of copyright, trademark, and entertainment law. He has represented a broad variety of clients including internationally known illustrators, prominent photographers, film production companies, musicians, and technology firms.

Sunday, February 1, 2015 – Neil Wright
Neil Wright is the Director of the In-Store Experience at Pacific Sunwear. He has over 15 years of retail experience; specializing in visual merchandising and store design, experiential marketing and events.

Sunday, March 1, 2015 – Kimberly McKinnis
Kimberly McKinnis is a southern California native currently pursuing her MFA at Cal State University, Fullerton. She is most interested in interactive community based projects by socially active artists. Currently she co-manages the curatorial collective, Day Job Projects, with artist Heather Bowling out of her studio at the Grand Central Arts Center in downtown Santa Ana.
