The World Was Waiting

Segerstrom Center for the Arts presents Millennial® Choirs & Orchestras’ performance of The World Was Waiting, featuring some of the most beloved Christmas carols and holiday favorites from across the globe.  Performed by a stunning musical force of hundreds of musicians: the breathtaking Youth Choirs, the majestic Grand Chorus, and the festive Symphony Orchestra. Join us for this festive celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.

Founded in 2007, Millennial® Choirs & Orchestras (MCO®) consists of over 4,000 participants in California, Arizona, Texas, Utah, Idaho, and Kansas City, MO.

Each MCO locale houses four non-auditioned choirs for youth, as well as an auditioned adult choir and symphony orchestra, both comprised of accomplished volunteer singers and instrumentalists. MCO was founded for the purpose of teaching and encouraging excellence in quality sacred and classical music. Its primary purpose is to fulfill the need for more refined music education and performance in our communities, with a focus on God and country.
