Timeless Melodies: Great American Songbook

Bowers Museum presents an outdoor Timeless Melodies lecture with historian Larry Maurer examining the Great American Songbook.

Using music and songs such as the “Star-Spangled Banner” and “God Bless America” as a guide, Maurer explores the key turning points in the Civil War, the two world wars, and the Great Depression.

This evening lecture takes place outdoors in the Bowers Museum Key Courtyard.  Advance reservations required.
