Tony Guerrero presents The Life & Music of Beverly Kenney

Closing night of the MetaJAX Jazz Fest features a very special presentation by Tony Guerrero:  Discovering The Life & Music of Beverly Kenney featuring vocalists Toni Scruggs, Lia Booth, Catte Adams, and Maria Schafer, plus Jeremy Siskind, Miles Jensen, David Miller, Dan Kaneyuki and Alex Bailey.

Very little is known about the short, tragic life of this remarkable jazz singer. While there are a couple mentions of her being fun and outgoing, most of her friends described her as sad, melancholy, always in some kind of pain and “afraid of everything”.
