Uplifting AmerAsians

Global Village Foundation invites the community to join us in Uplifting AmerAsians at our fundraiser showcasing conversations and performances by award-winning writers Nguyễn Phan Quế and Lệ Lý Hayslip, the actress Quyên Ngô, and the musician Jason Nguyễn.

The special guest will be Kirk Kellerhals (Trần Văn Kirk) who was taken from his Vietnamese mother at birth and found her 48 years later. His documentary film “Intersections” recently won Best Inspirational Film from the 2022 Cannes World Film Festival. Kirk will share his personal story and stories of fellow Amerasians, in his own words. All foods, drinks and products to be enjoyed at this event have been generously donated by the Vietnamese business community in Orange County.
