Viet Book Fest!

The Vietnamese American Arts & Letters Association (VAALA) is excited to launch the inaugural virtual Viet Book Fest on Saturdays in October spotlighting Vietnamese voices and stories in literature!

VAALA will present a series of virtual events, video story-times, live audience engagement activities, author and illustrator panels including a Halloween celebration.

These events will promote literacy focused on the theme of identity, family and community in children’s books to a broad audience of Vietnamese in the global diaspora.

The Vietnamese American Arts & Letters Association (VAALA) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Orange County, CA. Since 1991, has connected and enriched communities through Vietnamese arts. Some of our signature programs include Viet Film Fest, Youth in Motion, Gallery Beyond Walls and numerous arts exhibits. Our organization has been primarily volunteer driven, with support from many community partners.
