Virtual Book Club @ The Casa

We will be discussing the book “The King of California” by Mark Arax & Rick Wartzman. This is the story of the Boswell Family who came west from Georgia and became farmers in the Central Valley, specifically in the Lake Tulare area. Eventually farming over 135,000 acres, mostly cotton, the family rose to great power in California. The conversation takes place on July 28 through Zoom at 4pm.
