Winter Holiday Celebrations Around the World

The Festival Singers of Orange County, led by Artistic Director Gary Toops with pianist Carol Roman, presents a program of music from around the world celebrating St. Nicholas Day, Hanukkah, the Winter Solstice, Christmas and Twelfth Night. The concert features classical and contemporary pieces as well as new and familiar arrangements of traditional carols, with the Plazza String Quartet lending elegant harmonies. Included in the repertoire are works by J.S. Bach, John Rutter, Randall Thompson, Moses Hogan, Herbert Howell, Ariel Ramirez and Jerry Herman. Following the program is a reception with delicious holiday desserts.
