Sienna Browne is an Orange County based artist, currently studying at California State University Long Beach in the Drawing and Painting BFA program. The largest influences on her focus are the concept of capturing moment in movement, phenomenon found in nature, and synthesizing feeling through abstraction. Her current works an artist stem from her experiences growing up with binge eating and bulimia. This was cultivated through cultural and social pressures early in her life to be thin and therefore beautiful. She works intuitively and through observation as she explores how to effectively link content to emotion, expressive form, and color.
