Renee Stewart Jackson is an internationally recognized, award-winning photographer specializing in Fine Art, Composites and Pet Portraiture. Her work has been shown in individual and group exhibits in numerous venues including The Guggenheim Gallery. She is a member of several photographic and art associations and is currently the official photographer for the Anaheim Arts Council; also for Pixies in the Park 2011, City of Orange. Her artistic experience includes teaching, critiquing, assisting in the planning and preparation for juried open competitions, judging artists' entries in competitions, and assisting with website design. She also acts as on-line curator for a "Sepia" group with global participation. Currently she is teaching photography to persons with disabilities, with support from a grant she was awarded. Photographing subjects from nature to architecture and beyond, she does so with an affinity for shadow and light, as well as bold color and unique perspective. Born and raised in Southern California, she works and resides with her husband in Orange County, California.
