Under the direction of Dr. Iryna Krechkovsky, the Young Artist Program is the only full-scholarship pre-college program of its kind in the country. Open to exceptionally talented musicians between the ages of 12 and 18, the Young Artist Program provides a unique and comprehensive musical education that features chamber music coachings and performance classes, musicianship and eurythmics workshops, career development seminars, participation in monthly guest artist master classes, and community outreach performances. Last season, select members of the Young Artist Program were hailed as "Future Stars" by New York Concert Review when they performed alongside Chamber Music | OC principals in New York City's Carnegie Hall

The Young Artist Program operates on the calendar corresponding with the standard academic year, September through June. Participants explore one or more assigned works of chamber music culminating in end-of-the-year performances as part of the annual Rising Stars Recital Series. Weekly Young Artist Program activities take place on the campus of the University of California, Irvine.
