43rd Annual Elementary Art Show
The City of Buena Park invites K-6 students who live in Buena Park and its surrounding cities to participate in the 43rd Annual Elementary Art Show. Student work will be showcased in City Hall from January 23 – March 5, 2019. The Awards Reception will be Friday, February 15 at 6pm.

This year's theme is: Animals Are My Friends! From lions to lemurs, butterflies to buffaloes, illustrate your love of creatures big and small with paint, drawing, or collage.

Submission Requirements
Artwork must be affixed to matboard or cardstock (no glass, framed, or 3-D work will be accepted).
Three submissions maximum per student will be accepted.

All artwork must have a half sheet of paper attached to the back lower right-hand corner with the student’s name, title of work, grade, school, parent’s name and email/phone number, and teacher’s name and email/phone number. Entries MUST be submitted through the student's school. Not open to after school art programs or private instruction classes.

Artwork will be accepted January 2, 2019 – January 18, 2019 by 5:00pm at the Buena Park Community Center located at 6688 Beach Blvd. in Buena Park. Open Monday – Thursday 7:30am-5:30pm and alternating Fridays. Please consult the City Hall calendar on BuenaPark.com for office closures.

Please note:  This exhibition does not have 24-hour surveillance. As a participant in the show, the artist is releasing the City of Buena Park and those connected to the program from any and all liability regarding the work including damaged/and or stolen work during installation, exhibition, and de-installation.
