The purpose of the Page to Stage Playwright’s Festival is to nurture new plays by local playwrights while providing them an opportunity to showcase their works for audiences in our community. Selected plays will be presented as staged readings on the Curtis Theatre stage as part of the 2020/2021 Season. Additionally, The Curtis Theatre may also option selected material for production in future seasons. Authors whose manuscripts are selected will receive an honorarium and participation in a post-show audience discussion.

Page to Stage will feature one-act and full-length plays. The deadline for submissions is April 1, 2020. Submissions are open to ALL playwrights. Selections will be determined by a panel of theatre professionals. Priority will be given to local, unpublished playwrights whose scripts most embody the female voice. Playwrights whose scripts are selected will be directly contacted via e-mail by May 1, 2020. Visit http://bit.ly/PageToStage2020 to register. There is no submission fee.
