Theatre artists know all too well the realities of a gig-to-gig and paycheck-to-paycheck existence. With the recent closures of Orange County’s theaters surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, productions have been cancelled and postponed, and local theatre artists find themselves in need of financial support.

OC Theatre Guild recognizes that in these uncertain times, it may be months before our community will recover enough to bring jobs and opportunities back to the area. It is our hope that we can step in, step up and support those in need.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

We encourage all individual theatre artists who live in the Greater Orange County area in need of support as a result of lost earnings due to the outbreak of COVID-19 to fill out our application. Currently, this assistance is not available for organizations or nonprofits. We are hoping the larger foundations in Orange County will step up to support organizations and nonprofits; our focus is on the gig-to-gig freelancers who need assistance now.
