Audition videos and applications are being accepted for South Coast Symphony’s Young STARS of the Future.

The goal of the Young STARS of the Future Competition and Concert is to foster new, young talent residing or studying in Orange County.  Winners of the competition are selected by a Jury of distinguished musicians.

Deadline:  October 8, 2021

• Instrumental Applicants:  ages of 10-20 years of age on April 30, 2022
• Vocal Applicants:  ages of 14-23 years of age on April 30, 2022
• The criteria are exceptional talent, virtuosity, artistic individuality, projection as a performer, and promise
• Musicians compete against a standard of excellence, not each other
• Limit of three First Prize winners, and the Jury has the right to select none if none qualify
