South Coast Repertory (SCR) is accepting resumes for its Overhire Production Technicians lists.

Each year, SCR supplements its full time staff with up to 150 overhire technicians to help build and run its productions. Positions regularly hired include carpenters, automation technicians, deck crew, props artisans, painters, electricians, follow spot operators, audio technicians, video technicians, wig and makeup technicians, dressers, tailors, cutter/drapers, stitchers, craftspeople, costume design assistants, production assistants and more. All technical fields are encouraged to apply.

Applicants must have some training and/or professional experience in a theater setting to be considered, and must be local, living within reasonable driving distance of the theater. No housing is provided. All positions are paid, and engagements can run from a few hours to several weeks, depending on the position.
