The Bowers Museum in Santa Ana seeks an Associate Registrar, Permanent Collection to be responsible for the physical organization and maintenance of all Museum artifacts. Under the direct supervision of the Senior Registrar, the Associate Registrar ensures that all permanent and on-loan non-special exhibition artifacts are inventoried and registered in the Museum’s collections database. Ongoing responsibilities include object cataloging and housing, organization of collections storage, maintaining orderly forms, and retrieval systems associated with collections, acquisitions, accessions, deaccessions, cataloging, etc.
