The Merchandise Coordinator is a full-time, year-round position. This position aids in the effectiveness and daily operation of the Marketing, PR and Merchandise Department by coordinating seasonal gift shop and providing administrative support to the Marketing, PR and Merchandise Director. Responsibilities include working with the designer and vendors to produce merchandise, managing on-site and off-site inventory, coordinating shipments and deliveries, and overseeing online store sales. During the peak season, the Merchandise Coordinator will manage the visual display of the gift shop- arranging, cleaning and restocking merchandise. Hours:
This is a full-time, year-round, hourly position. Work hours off-season are generally Monday – Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. Must be available to work some nights and weekends during off-season and increased hours, nights and weekends during peak season.

Requirements:
Position requires 3-5 year’s prior experience (retail or merchandising experience is preferred). High School diploma required. AS/Bachelor’s degree preferred. Strong computer knowledge, specifically with databases and spreadsheets. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn new software and PO systems quickly. Very strong MAC and PC skills. Strong project and time management skills; proven success meeting strict and completing deadlines.  Must be able to meet physical demands of job to include walking, standing, climbing, bending, kneeling and lifting and move or lift objects up to 40 lbs.
