California Arts Project

The California Arts Project (TCAP) is one of the state subject matter projects dedicated to providing professional development for teachers and administrators K-12, and is designated by the Department of Education as the state educational agency for professional development in the arts. TCAP’s mission is to deepen the content knowledge of the arts, and develop instructional strategies in support of arts education and student success.

The Southern Counties Arts Project serves the counties of San Diego, Orange and Imperial. Located at San Diego State University, this professional development center provides programs and services year-round to Kindergarten through Post-Secondary educators.

Teaching Creativity for the 21st Century: An Exciting & Motivating Workshop! University Credits will be available. Scholarshiops are available for Orange County Arts Advantage Districts.
