Found is a solo exhibition by artist Debbie Carlson that includes several site-specific installations. In her work, Carlson uses found objects and materials that represent her personal history and signify necessity, memory and nostalgia. By placing everyday objects in an art installation, she transforms them into something poetic and attempts to shift preconceptions about the familiar, recognize new possibilities and realize new meanings.
